The Buchla Music Box 1976 - Buchla with Keyboard

via It's Full of Stars

"Finn Mortensen (t.v) folger interessert med i hvordan Hal Clark (programmerer) studioets sentrale (instruments), The Bucha Music Box. Norsk Studio for Elektronisk Musikk, Hovikodden, november 1976."

Googlish:
"Finn Mortensen (left) Folger Interessert in Hvordan Hal Clark (program) studioets Sentral (instrument), The Buchla Music Box. Norwegian Studio for Electronic Musikk, Hovikodden, November 1976."

You don't normally see Buchla's with standard keyboards.

Update via Ulf in the comments: "Finn Mortensen (left) is following Hal Clark with interest while he is programming the studios central instrument, The Buchla Music Box. Norsk Studio for Elektronisk Musikk, Hovikodden, November 1976."

  1. It translates something like this:

"Finn Mortensen (left) is following Hal Clark with interest while he is programming the studios central instrument, The Buchla Music Box. Norsk Studio for Elektronisk Musikk, Hovikodden, November 1976."

  2. ...or with chunky colored Selectric-style keys over the keyboard. That's a Buchla 500- I wonder where they stashed the rest of it? There's a satellite cabinet that holds some microprocessor guts, but doesn't seem to be visible in this photograph.
