Sorry but, this is just a rompler. And a bad one. XP-10 is basically a Sound Canvas with a keyboard. Back in 96' I used to work in a store. And this thing sold because it was cheap. I had a chance to really compare with other synths from that time and Roland XP-50, Yamaha SY-77(this a true "more than a rompler" from the same era) and Korg N264 all make you want to dump this thing in the first trash can that you can find.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason that this thing lasted so long, it was because it was priced for begginers, exactly like the Juno D is these days.
