8-bit Sampler (Prototype 1 - Logic Design)
YouTube Uploaded by SeaweedFactory on Nov 1, 2011
"This is a prototype 8-bit sampler constructed using only logic 4000 series ICs, a serial ADC, a parallel DAC, and 8K of memory. It is configured to loop whatever is played into it, in this case some drums and a bass line. When the write line is tied to ground, it passes the bit-reduced signal from the ADC shift register to the DAC. It doesn't sound good for a number of reasons, the first being the unstable configuration for the serial ADC and it's associated shift register."
I'm creating a new Breadboard label for these. If you ever see a post that should get it, past or present, feel free to comment and/or let me know.
