"The ESQ has a great voice architecture in that it has three DCOs and a rich analog VCF per voice. The Hidden Waves OS EPROM allows for some amazing sounds and textures by giving you access to more DCO waveforms. A fresh CR2032 battery was installed in a new battery holder, replacing the old solder-tab lithium battery. The ESQ-1 has the SQX-10 Sequencer Expander Cartridge which expands the sequencer capacity to 10,000 notes. This ESQ-1 is the more solid metal model which predates the later plastic models..."
