The signal path is analogue but with 2 DCO's per voice (digitally controlled oscillators) so it maintains pitch but retains that fantastic thick and warm analogue sound everyone craves. The 61 note keyboard is comfortable to play and adequately responsive with velocity and aftertouch. One of the slight drawbacks of this synth is programming due to the membrane button matrix and slider. However this one ships with the additional and rare PG-800 controller which enables the user real-time control of all the synth's parameters making composing and playing an infinite joy."
