OP-1 Tutorial: Making a Remix - Part One
YouTube Uploaded by djthomaswhite on Jan 27, 2012
"In this video I present an overview of how to import external samples into the OP-1 through the computer interface and Drum Kit creation app. Those samples are also shown to be manipulated and a rough arrangement is created with notes about using the OP-1 for remixing songs. Examples of the following are shown:
- Importing Samples
- Connecting the OP-1 to a computer
- Managing drum kits
- Editing drum kit sounds
- Creating Pattern and Endless mode Sequences
- Sequencing to tape "on time"
- Setting tape loop points
- Tape Navigation
- Using OP-1 Effects
- Assigning LFO to control Effects
- Lift and Drop techniques
and more...
I hope you enjoy another video in my tutorial series. Remember, these videos are only examples of how I am using the OP-1. They are intended to be helpful to those new to the machine, considering buying the machine, and to the user community as a possibly different method of production using this wide-ranging machine. If you'd like to see a specific OP-1 video or topic answered here, please send me a message and I'll do my best to help you out.
Thanks for watching another one of my videos.
