Breathe Alive (Roland MC 303)

"I got a little carried away time-wise, so hopefully you enjoy it. All sounds coming directly from the MC 303 (including delay and flanger). I have it midi synced to Garageband which is why I pressed start on my computer instead of the groovebox. That way it recorded perfectly in sync with Garageband, making it easier to export and sync up with the video.

Midi Sync with Garageband (Roland MC-303)

Uploaded by ratface1987 on Mar 9, 2012

"This is a tutorial on how to sync the Roland MC-303 Groovebox with Garageband. Garageband does not support Midi sync (syncing midi clock, start/stop messages, etc.) on its own. This video shows you the third party Audio Unit to install, how to install, and how to configure the MC-303 to recognize Garageband.

This should work for any other sequencer, such as an Electribe or what have you, and it should work for sequencing an external synth, like the Akai Miniak. This video only shows how to midi sync clock data and start/stop messages.

I am posting a video soon of the song at the end, performed live on the MC-303. If you like it, subscribe or come by my channel to see it. Enjoy!"
