"The Q32MXT8A is a Quad 8 Analog Sequencer, 32 channels total. There's 4 Banks with complete full control. Control Voltage outputs, Trigger outpus and External Clock inputs. Description below:

Each "Bank" has seperate controls for External Clock Input, Portamento, Control Voltage Output and Custom Clock division control. 1X, 2X, 4X and 8X Clock adjustments. Plus a Sync and individual reset buttons. Master External Clock input, Mixing Outputs for Trigger, Control Voltage and set switches for adding each bank to the mixing output. This Sequencer can control 4 Synths + 1 Master Synth, completely seperate from one another. This was tested with 1 VCO system Synth, for Test & Video purposes.

The "Freq" control knob, left side of unit (White Knob) will allow you to set the banks scan rate. Completely seperate from the other banks.

The "Select" control knob, left side of unit (Red Knob) will allow you to select the "Timing" of each bank, 6 settings selections

1: Ex = External Clock Input. (Right side of bank)

2: Fr = Freq adjustment (White knob) will allow you to manually control the setting of that bank. Banks individual clock

3: 1X = Master Clock's Freq Control and Divider Circuit, This is the Green Control Knob, Lower Left side of unit The Master Clock has the ability to control all 4 banks with 1 clock control. The MCC Circuit (Master Clock Circuit) has a Trigger Output and an External Master Clock Input. The MCC has a divider of 1X, 2X, 4X and 8X. This comes in very handy when setting the 4 banks to work as a complete team.

Example 1:

If you set Bank A to 1X, this will set that banks to 1X Clock, you can control the speed via Green Control Knob or use the External Clock input and control it via other device.

Set Bank B to 2X, Bank C to 4X and Bank D to 8X, now when you fire this up you can use the Master Reset, (This is a very special switch) it is the Off/Reset/On switch. Far left side lower corner. The Master Reset Switch will reset all the banks with 1 press of the power switch "UP", there is 4 individual reset push buttons. "They are marked R1, R2, R3 and R4."

When your ready to go, hit the Reset, now the timing will all be in sync with each other.


Example 2: If you set each of the banks to X1, hit Master Reset, they will all scan at the same rate, that goes with all other "X" settings.

The main control voltage settings are the 8 white knobs for each channel, each channel has thier own trigger, and control voltage pulse outputs. On/Off control via switches and LED per channel.

Portamento on each of the banks.

MIXING CIRCUITs, you will see on the far lower right 4 switches marked M1, M2, M3 and M4. This will let you mix each bank on the mixing output jacks.

When you select any of the Mixing switches, that will send that banks CV to that output jack. If you select M1 & M3, then you will get each of Banks 1 and 3's control voltage output to that jack, and so on. 1/4 inch Switchcraft Jacks.

The Sequencer is 13 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.
