"This is the 1990 Tycho Hot Keyz Keytar, a "toy" starter synth that is complete and works, still has original strap! I can't speak to the quality of its performance myself, I don't play, I traded for it at a toy show. Runs off of 6 C batteries. None of the buttons seem too tight or too loose, no cracks, sticker good, a little duge in the grooves of the speaker and the wah way lever (which has a little chrome worn off). From what I've been able to turn up, it has:
· Lead Riff, Accompaniment Riffs & Single Notes
· Real Stereo Output Jack
· Three Different Musical Scores
· Twin Audio Amplifier
· Voice, Envelope & Vibrato Buttons
· WAH-WAH Joystick & Two Pitch Shift Buttons
· Control Fast & Slow Tempo…High & Low Range
· Polyphonic Keyboards
· On-Off Volume Button
· 8 Effect Keys with LED Control Grid
· 8 Pre-Programmed Accompaniment Riffs
· 8 Lead Riff Keys & Single Notes"
what are you asking for the Hot Keys ? Paul at... javelin1970@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHmm interesting, I have a Hot Keyz but mine doesn't have the LEDs on the keys, so there are at least two versions of the Hot Keyz. I also poked around for circuit-bends, but unlike the Hot Licks guitar, which has tons of bends, the Hot Keyz has nothing particularly worthwhile...
