Stanley Q-Brick got all of his ideas from his beard. He would scratch and scratch at it until a 2001 or Clockwork Orange fell out. The itchier his beard got, the more profound the next film would be. By the time he got to Eyes Wide Shut, he was hiring full-time assistants to got at it with a garden rake.
