SN 1846 or 1946

"This MG-1 has been refurbished, tuned, and calibrated at Syntaur, and is fully functional. All switches and pots have been cleaned, so there are no glitchy notes or scratchy pots. The power supply has been recapped, for many more years of good service. The infamous black goo has been removed, and new dust shields have been added to all slide pots and switches (see last photo).

Cosmetically:

About 8.0 out of 10. The front panel is great, with only a very minor dent near the Detune slider; this shows up well in the last photo, but really is almost unnoticable (can't even see it in the other photos). The end and back panels are in great shape as well. Some of the aluminum toggle switches show some dulling of the finish. Keys are clean, but two of them (lowest B and C) have small chips in the bottom front surface (see first photo), and some have minor scratching. The bottom panel looks really good. The red LED has been replaced with a sexy purple LED (oooh!).

Audio Input Mod:

We have added an audio input circuit, to allow the wonderful Moog filter to be used to process external audio. But instead of drilling holes in this piece of vintage gear, we have done it in a way that is 100% non-destructive and reversible. The right Tape In jack has been disabled and is used for this input; should you prefer the original configuration, it is a very simple procedure to reverse this mod."
