"Here's quite possibly the best Jupiter synth from the vintage Roland "golden years".
This one has been serviced in early 2012 by a professional tech.
All 4 voice cards re-capped for proper tuning, overhaul cleaning of all parts and connections, calibrated etc.
Service paper work will be included.
This JP4 also has the amazing MIDIpolis IO MIDI Retrofit, installed!Two boards inside...
1) The Keyboard Assigner, which gives you MIDI control over pitch note, bend, cutoff frequency, volume and portamento.
Also syncs up the (very awesome) arpeggio to MIDI clock. Also 2 LFOs with storable settings.
2) Expanded Patch Programmer, giving you 8x the memory storage for saved sounds (total 64). As well as...
MIDI CC send/receive on all programmable sliders, copy/paste patches, a "Second Page" for added LFOs control + velocity,
Noise level control, Memory dump, and much more.
Needless to say, the added flexibility from the IO MIDI kit allows the JP4 to out-shine many of today's "new" synths.
The sound has always been amazing ... but now the control and usability are up to current standards.
