Anyone know what the probe is for?
"This is an excellent example of this vintage synthesizer from "Realistic/Moog", the 'MG-1' model. The keyboard is in excellent condition, and works and sounds great. It is still in the original box and packaging, and looks to have seen little use, if any. The MG-1 is a 2-VCO monophonic/polyphonic analog synth with a genuine 24dB/oct Moog filter. The keyboard is in great condition, and has no heavy type or noticeable scratches on the top or sides, and the edges are nice and clean all around. The keys are also nice and clean, and are all still nice and white, and they have no chips or cracks. The original box is also included, and it also includes the probe that is shown. I have taken a number of photos. Measures 21" by 12", and stands 5" high in the back."
I think that probe is actually a cooking instrument...
ReplyDeleteMust be someone's idea of a joke.. Throwing their old junk in the box because it has a 1/4 jack on it.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one with a 1/4 but yea, that looks a lot a cooking probe for a pot roast. Most crock pots have a plug in the side that it connects to and then you run it under the lid and into the meat. Some ovens have a connection on the inside too.
