The Monthly Acid Pattern - September

The Monthly Acid Pattern

via Dylan Davis on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"From Null Object (http://soundcloud.com/null-object)
Something different this month - a 10 step pattern.
I have cleverly disguised this pattern in this mumble jumble of hectic rhetoric.
This track was entirely sequenced by my Midified TB303, it is triggering all the drum samples, two mp3's sliced into midi tracks ("Madness - Baggy Trousers" & "Hume - The Spirit of Gambo The Lord Dewys of Favoret"), A Roland System 104 Step sequencer and the 303 the the step sequencer control parts of a Roland System 102 synth.
The 102 synth also feeds back into the modified 303 hence the LFO sound at times.
The whole track is then haphazardly transposed all over the place, triggering different samples.
The 303 has a bunch of circuit bends which further affect the sound.
This way of working is quite different to the typical XOX box acid setup but this pattern can sound good with a 6,8,10,12 or 16 step backbone. The track will loop around and sound "right" after two 16 step bars" Work it to make something for you. I am interested to hear what you do."

make some acid with this and post it to the group
all submission will be compiled at end of month into an EP released via bandcamp - http://acidpattern.bandcamp.com/"
