The Schmidt Uber Analog Synthesizer Keyboard is Going Into Production

via John Bowen on
The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge:

"Just heard that the Schmidt is going to be manufactured. EMC are taking deposit to the tune of 9,000 euros, representing 50% of the total price (inc German VAT), i.e. 18,000 euros to pay for a first batch of 25 units."

See the Schmidt label below for more including some video and pics I took at Winter NAMM this year.

Update via François Rossi on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge: "The annoucement was made by Stefan Hund (EMC boss) to a select few on 6 September. We know the cost, 18.000 inc German VAT, the deposit required, i.e. 50%, and the fact that a first batch of 25 units will be made. That's it for now, it's not even been announced on EMC's website yet."
