on how i cracked the WMD Gamma wave source wave files

the fun starts at 03:34


The WMD Gamma Wave Source is a dual digital wavetable VCO
with 256 wave forms

1:
download and print

2:
i used adobe illustrator to
import gwswavetablesweb.pdf page 1 then save as 300dpi

.tiff or .psd
import gwswavetablesweb.pdf page 2 then save as 300dpi

.tiff or .psd

3:
open in image editor of choice
i used adobe photoshop

4:
make a selection this will be moved around
copy then paste each windows in to it's own document
save as .jpg i find this gives the sound a bit of grit
save all file to a single folder

5:
repeat 255 more time !!!!!!!!!!!
remember to use all the right file names
so you can use the print out as a reference

Harsh Digital Nose a synthesizer that converts two images

into two oscillator waveforms and then mixes them in

various horrible ways. You can drag and drop images or draw

them on the plugin in real time.

The basics:
There are two image-based oscillators. The knobs between

them apply to the second image, based on the first image.

There is then a third oscillator that plays ordinary

waveforms, which can be modulated by the image oscillators.

The "M" button below each pitch knob toggles on/off the

oscillator pitch following input MIDI notes.

you can drag an drop the photos on to the plugin
now you have all the cool GWS sounds for your midi pleasure
you can even do some cool wave mixing
