"Poofster's Plunkers" (Instrumental)

Published on Nov 1, 2012 by TimeSynthis

"So what does it all add up to? "Poofster's Plunkers"

Slide show of the currencies of the Forex market. A few pleasant faces, many not so pleasant faces. Some old, some new.

All Ensoniq synths used, SQ-R+ percussion, ESQ-M bass, filter sweeps & solo voice in last section, SD-1 pads.

Artificial 6:7 rhythmic figures are written in places. A lot of changing time signatures, starts out with 3 measures of 6/8 (bass begins with playing dotted eighth notes) then a measure of 7/8, repeated four times... Also measures of 7/16 and 2/4 are used. Rhythm and Bass composed in Coda Finale 2012 in standard notation. The entire rhythmic percussion/bass score is written out in 36 measures.

Currencies pictured (not in this order) Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, England, Euro Zone, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Denmark, Russia, Poland, South Africa, Mexico, USA

Original Instrumental work by Jack Girouard (2012)"
