EML 400/401 - On The Run

Published on Mar 2, 2013 DJjondent·173 videos

"Based on Pink Floyd's "On The Run" sequence.
Programming the EML is pretty simple.
The vertical row of LED's on the left correspond
to one octave
Led 1 = C
Led 2 = C#
Led 3 = D .....and so on.

The notes are: EGAGDCDE
EGAG are directly below middle C
Thus the sequence code is:5,8,10,8,3,1,3,5

I've restricted the synth to square waves and just tweaked
the envelope generators (Attack-Decay only I'm afraid) and the filter settings.

The EML401 sadly doesn't have a LFO, neither does the EML200.
But EMW's 200 does :-)

So the last part of the video are experments with modulation of the filter using the
EMW's LFO - triangle & pluse waves.

All sounds are from the EML400/401 - no editing/extra effects at all."
