"Designed to control Roland polyphonic synths that were equipped with a DCB (Dig. Control Bus) interface via the Roland MC4 micro composer. They are connected with a DCB cable.( not supplied) The OP8 and MC4 were then patched together using patchcords via each of their patchbays. The transpose control was able to transpose the synth up or down by one octave. Use a mono analog synth /sequencer such as an MC-202 to drive your Jupiter or Juno as I did through the OP-8 and you will find it also adds a different colour to the mix. Unlimited possibilities especially today with the Midi to CV like Kenton where you can use each channel to play different melodies to drive your synth..."
