"If you want a monster digital Bass Drum and Snare drum to cut through even the densest of layered tracks, this machine will not disappoint. It would be best suited for Industrial/Electronic Body/Darkwave music ala Front 242 or Skinny Puppy, but, as with any machine in the right hands, could easily be used for other genres. They're easy to find, they're relatively cheap, and you can use them as MIDI sync (24 or 48) converters as long as you use it as your master clock. "
