Spring feedback demo

Published on Sep 26, 2013

"Short demonstration to show the patching for one of the more simple no-input spring reverb feedback systems I used to make the Lost Among the Windings set

The full album is a free download at http://umcorps.bandcamp.com/album/los...

For clarity, I've patched it so the red cables = audio and the yellow = control. The feedback level is controlled by a VCA on the X axis of the joystick. The Y axis controls the master frequency on the Res-4, and the cutoff and filter blend on the SVF. QMMG is just being used as a mixer here and is not making a significant contribution to the sound.

There is a delay applied across the final output before being recorded direct to camera without further processing or EQ.

The A-199 Spring reverb module is using the standard tank with no modifications."
