Yamaha VL1 Version 2 Acoustic Modelling Synthesizer

I think this is the first time I noticed the VL1 has a floppy drive built into it.  See the pic below.

via the seller: "If you are looking at this auction then you probably have some idea what a great instrument the VL-1 is for synthesizing new sounds and recreating acoustic instruments you can actually 'play'. The way the programs interact with the performance controls are genius to me. In my opinion the VL1 is one of Yamaha's greatest creations. It was crazy expensive in 1996 and was a big decision to purchase one. I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it. The programming possibilities are endless. All of the hardware must be top notch because it sounds and feels fantastic. Kind of in the same way my DX1 sounded and played better than my DX5. The quality components have to make a big difference..."
