NLC Cellular Automata sequencer with 200e

Update: one more video below.

"Testing out a new sequencer.

Quite unlike anything I have ever seen and lots of fun.
It's based upon the principles of Cellular Automata (CA).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular...

There are basically 6 cells/ sequencers. They produce 18 different CV patterns that can be simple or very
complex.
The cells can either be isolated or they can be made to affect their neighbouring cells/sequencers.
You can do this by patching from one into the other/s.
CVs from each neighbourhood can be summed or subtracted from others.

Here the 6 sequencers are all synced with one clock produced by the Buchla 281e.

This patching between the 6 sequencers makes very complex & evolving patterns possible .....
according to the rules of CA.
And you are outputting these patterns as gates (24 of them) and CVs.

The 24 gates are awesome to trigger envelope Generators, drums, etc.
They can also be used to clock other neighbourhoods.
