"Ultra rare vintage analog KLONE DUAL PERCUSSION SYNTHESIZER KIT from the early 80's. It was produced in the UK by Honkey-Tonk Music. Only one on the market at the moment - highly collectible item! Kit comes with Main Unit, two KLONE drum pads, Jacques Capelle (made in France) stand, Jacques Capelle hard case and original user manual. Excellent working condition.

The control unit contains two separate monophonic synthesizers which are triggered from the pads. They can also be triggered from external sources such as a Rhythm Unit, Synthesizer with trigger output, DAW or even from a microphone.
When the pad is triggered the corresponding light emitting Diode (LED) lights up on the module. Unlike a keyboard synthesizer, the Klone is specially tailored and designed for percussive sound generation. Each synthesizer has a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) which produces a pitched sound or tone, also a voltage controlled filter (VCF) which creates a variety of noise sounds. These can be used individually or mixed together to obtain the desired sound.
In addition, and for extra versatility, channel two of the Klone has a comprehensive modulation section which allows for a whole range of additional sounds and effects.

You can listen to the sounds here.

You are welcome to come and play before buying - you won't be disappointed! Along with the Pearl Syncussion SY-1, the Klone is one of the best around for its versatility and sound generating capabilities."
