New Pirx Modular Matrix Step Sequencer - early prototype

Published on Jan 29, 2014 Pirx Modular·4 videos

"This is an early prototype of matrix step sequencer I have been working on for over a year. Hopefully, I will complete the project this year and post more videos. Eventually, all schematics and code are going to be open sourced.

Each column controls a step on/off (top button), octave (red buttons) and semitone (bottom 12 buttons). The device is based on STM32F4 microcontroller and outputs CV/gate signals (no MIDI). Here, the sequencer controls modular synthesizer playing a simple bass line. Steps can be turned on and off and transposed in real time."

Note this is the first Pirx Modular post.
