"This synth is a beast. 6 Voices with 2 CEM Oscillators per voice, Epic Roland filters, Arpeggiator, loads of memory, 2 ADSR, 2 LFO!! Plus much more! All to be expected from one of Roland's biggest and most epic Analogue synth Keyboards of the 80's.

It sounds brilliant. Capable of huge basslines and stacked leads, luscious strings and pads, blippy analogue sounds and everything in between. It is a real workhorse. It also includes the factory midi connections so you can adapt it simply and easily into your modern production setup. No need for further mods or kits.

Physical condition of this unit is very good. All the paintwork and colours are nice and shiny and fresh as you can see in the pics. There is no major rust or damage to the metalwork or paintwork. It has a few signs of wear and tear such as slight scuffs etc on the paint but this is to be expected... Overall condition is very good, and very clean inside and out.
This unit is 240V so suitable for use in Australia.

Everything on this JP-6 is working perfectly and it has been thoroughly serviced bringing it right up to spec. It has undergone our usual high standard of service which includes the following work -

- All electrolytic capacitors replaced on the power supply and voice boards. This significantly improves stability and performance of the whole machine. Probably around 70 capacitors were replaced in total with high quality modern Panaosnic and Nichicon parts. Many of the old ones were dried up and bad so it really shows the need for replacement.

- All internal connectors cleaned/de-oxidised. I have noticed previously on JP-6's that they suffer from intermittent connections resulting in VCO instability or intermittent voices. This step prevents that from occurring now and in future.

- All Sliders, switches, pots working perfectly and without error or noise. They have been cleaned/lubed where necessary.

-Brand new Panasonic battery for memory storage.

- All functions tested and working.

- Restored factory patches. The original Roland sounds have been restored for you to use.

- Full tune up and calibration according to Roland factory spec."

  1. Europa Users: After much trial and error and wailing and gnashing of teeth, I have the original JP-6 factory patches in .syx format.
