"You are bidding on a 9 out of 10 cosmetic 10 of 10 functionality tr-909. It looks like it was kept in the box for 25 years and never used. The protection plastic is still on the serial number plates on the bottom. I managed to find one extremely small mark on the gray plastic side on the bottom shown in the picture. There are also a couple small marks on the bottom(pictured) that could probably be removed with a little tlc.
I've handled many TR-909's and I've never had one this clean before. Bid with confidence. There's no discoloration, no paint ware or anything of that sort.
This is one of those pieces I'd recommend for people looking for collector pieces. That being said, it should also be used in the studio because it sounds fantastic!
All buttons and pots work with no scratching.
The PSU has been recapped and the firmware has been upgraded to the newest (Ver 4). It includes an M-64C memory cart in the box with like new sticker labels. A brand new custom TR-909 dust cover and the original box/foam/plastic bag. The manual is a very nice printed/bound version (An original could be had pretty easily on eBay)!"
