via the seller: "This particular model is an old Wave 2.2 with the latest Wave 2.3 software installed (V 8.3), effectively making it a fully functioning Wave 2.3 with 16 oscillators (two per voice), 12-bit resolution, dual modulation wheels, SSM 2044 VCFs and 8-part multimbrality. I'm led to believe this model was made between 1982 and 1984. I had it shipped over from Germany after a service just over two years ago, I used it for about a month and after that I stored it away as I had no time to study it properly. It is a complex synthesizer, with extremely interesting sounds and a unique character. It has a few scuffs due to its age but apart from that it is in perfect conditions..."
Update via Qwave in the comments: "The serial number is most likely not 265. All pictures and my PPG wave 2.3 with the past PPG firmware 8.3 show this number during booting. The serial number of the PPG waves is written on the back. I guess, all version 8.3 EEPROMs show this serial number."
