"Up for auction is a rare Technosaurus Microcon. These are handmade in Switzerland using discrete components. This monophonic synthesizer has a single oscillator with a sub octave generator. Oscillator outputs both square wave and saw waves mixed with the square sub-octave generator.The analog lowpass filter is switchable as either 2-pole (12dB/oct) or 4-pole (24dB/oct).. The LFO can modulate the filter cutoff frequency or VCO by square or triangle waves. Simple attack and decay envelope controls and VCO glide.The Microcon only uses CV and Gate for being controlled externally .
Included with auction is an AC adapter and small instruction sheet for external patching. 3.5mm stereo patch cables are needed to access the VCO/VCF/gate/external audio inputs. The Microcon sounds massive due to using discrete parts. Very vintage sounding with Swiss made quality.
