Touch Activated Synthesizer
Published on May 19, 2014 Alexandria Wood·6 videos
"By utilizing conductive paint and a Teensy microchip I was able to measure the change in capacitance which would then send a trigger to Pure Data which was programmed to choose a random sample from a folder of about 300 instrumental sounds. The chosen sample would then be put through various perimeters (i.e. reverb, flanger, volume) at a semi-random rate, depending which foot was touched. The higher the feet, the higher the range within each permitter."
