"This Version 1 Waldorf Microwave is a wavetable synth, it is an analog/digital hybrid . The analog side being the filter and envelope sections and the digital side being the sampled wavetable sounds which are the same as the ppg wave 2.3 :-) . Put it altogether and you get classic warm analog richness to out of this world crystal bell digital sounds combined. its a very cool and complex synth."
