Moog Sub 37 - Duo Mode Improvisation

Published on Aug 16, 2014 Zach Ashcraft

"Duo Mode is an incredibly welcome addition to the Moog Sub 37. The ability to play two notes at once opens up the door to a wide array of new musical possibilities. I loved this more mellow sound, and just wanted to improvise on a harmonic progression. I'm adjusting the filter cutoff throughout the change the timbre. The sub-oscillator is dialed in just a bit.

Recorded through the Apogee Duet. No other effects, EQ, compression, etc. applied. This is straight out of the Synth."

"Sounds 100% Sub 37 - Synth, Bass, Drums

The Moog sub 37 arrived at my doorstep today, after parting ways with the Slim Phatty. Within an hour, I was able to dial in a range of kicks, snares, bass, and lead tones with so much ease and speed. This synth is going to become a staple of studios and live rigs."
