Eurorack 9U System + TR-606 – Jam #2

Eurorack 9U System + TR-606 – Jam #2 from Icaro Ferre on Vimeo.

"I've just received some EMW modules yesterday so I decided to record another jam video using just my modular setup (that evolved from a 6U to a 9U) and my Roland TR-606 drum machine.

The goal for this video is still the same: jam with this limited, all-analog setup and play around with the different parameters within the patch, Minilogue style.

The patch in this video has 4 different layers so it is a bit more complex. As in the previous video, I'm using an 4ms SCM (clocked by the TR-606 LT trigger output) and the Intellijel Metropolis to sequence and clock everything in the patch.
For the pluck sounds, I'm using the Synthesis Technologies e350 Morphium Terranium, Ch 2 of the Optomix (with a trigger signal going into the strike input) and the Synthrotek EKO for some delay / karplus action. The Mutable Instruments Tides is being used as a complex LFO to modulate the e350.
For the bass patch, I used the Mutable Instruments Braids (CSAW mode), the EMW VCF Diode (set to Low Res.) and the Optomix Ch. 1. I also used the Maths Ch. 4 and the EMW Sample & Hold module as modulation sources for the filter's cutoff.
I'm also using a EMW Digi-Drum module for the kick drum and the noise output from the EMW Sample & Hold module (going through the Toppobrillo Multifilter) for some wind / white noise fx.

Thanks for watching!"
