"The Mutronics Mutator is the sound used by Daft Punk and many other famous producers. Nigel Bradbury played a big role in developing the Mutator. These were made in limited production (only 1000 units)and were discontinued when a component, the SSM 2045 ICs that gave the Mutator it's unique sound ended production."
