SNAZZY FX-- tidal wave as a vco w piston honda joining in the fun plus Rene
Published on Jan 30, 2015 snazelle
"Here we have a one volt per octave sequence going straight into the tidal wave... The filter is set to high Q /sine mode. from there we simply tune with the pitch knob and we can take the signal out of many different points ( vca out ...Vcf out or vc mix out ) as the video goes on we begin mixing in the wave folder which in this patch is switch to come after the filter ( you flip the order with the toggle )
As we begin messing with the wave controls we can change the harmonic content and overall shape of the wave in conjunction with the INITIAL WAVE control ( which determines center and max height of wave) and the WS mod knob which turns up internal OR external cv to move the sound .
This is going through the wow and flutter delay
We manually use the vc crossfader to move back and forth between the sine and the Ws section
We then flip on feedback ( there are two modes ) and in this video somewhere in the middle you can hear it start to add it's own unique saturation to the sound .
Later we add the piston honda to thicken up the melody
Just one way you can use the tidal wave"
