"This is a synthesizer/sequencer combo. The top portion is the MFOS Sound-Lab Ultimate and the bottom is the MFOS 16-Step Quantized Vari-Clock Sequencer. The build uses all PCBs and parts sold from musicfromouterspace.com. The additional parts (eg switches, pots, knobs, etc) are all from Mouser --no cheap Tayda stuff. The front panels are hand-made, printed PVC cemented to aluminum, and the back panels are milled by Front Panel Express. The 'legs' fold so that the piece can lay flat for storage or transport. The synthesizer's aux panel is wired for MIDI, but not MIDI-ready. It was wired for the miniCV which is an excellent MIDI->CV converter found by google searching "miniCV.". I haven't purchased/installed the miniCV, but will do if you ship it to me after the sale (its 28.00 Euro at last check), or you can install it yourself --only requires 7 solder connections.

I've built dozens of MFOS synthesizers and they've all been pre-sold and custom made. I designed this one to my own tastes and built it on spec. I finished it in December of 2014 and was just sure that I could get $2500 out of it --ha. I'm really anxious to sell this in order to fund my next project and only hope to get the same $ that I put into it --$1200. I really feel like this is a great deal and would love for this thing to go to a good home and be used to make great music; it really does sound great."
