DSI Prophet 08 Live perfomance ( Tubular bells homage )

Published on Apr 6, 2015 David GarcĂa

"Some days ago i receivced the DSI Prophet 08 synthesizer, i spent some time making some patches, and then i decided to try something with it.

So i think in creating a little and humble version of the impressive tubular bells II by Mike Oldfield, to test the Prophet and to see how the Boss loop station works. ( im used to compose in a daw, not playing live ). So, here is the result. I have a really nice time with the prophet. Really love the sound, the possibilities ( even im only starting to scratch the surface ) and for sure will be a fantastic instrument in the years to come.

The loop station free me from the monitor, and the daw, and is just "play some music and have fun" . It starts to record the loop when audio is detected , and when you finish the first loop, touch the pedal and the loop duration for the whole song is set. after that the loop station will record all the layers with the same loop length until you stop recording."
