Not the best pics, but the Rodgers branding makes this one interesting.

"This synth has the exact same synth engine as the Roland JV-30, JV-35 and JV-50. In addition to the JV synth engine it also has an extensive Rodgers organ sound set included."

  1. I currently own my second unit. I had one in the 90's when it first came out. I was working with Rodgers Instruments doing demos and they provided it for me to be able to sell them. That unit died some years ago. I am retired now and playing for a small church. I found one on E-Bay and immediately purchased it. The price was just under $300. The unit is a good example of Rolands sample technology and as such it is a good unit for worship. What makes this one unique is the addition of a complete Rodgers sound set, made up of programs or registrations. Even though it is only 61 notes (standard organ keyboard) it is easily transposed down one octave and I can play piano for hymns WITH the organ sounds as well. The unit still sounds great and my church loves it. At only about 15 pounds it is much easier to move than my very heavy Korg, or Kurzweil 88 key units. I play the W-50 through a Bose S-1 and it sounds AMAZING.
These are hard to find because it didn't take off fast enough for the higher ups in Roland or Rodgers. It took most dealers while to get on board with the unit and by the time people really started to want them the company had discontinued it.
