Yamaha CS60 Ribbon Repair Demo

"I had to have a new spring made for the ribbon on this CS60. Installing the spring into the carrier was a challenge. Also getting the velvet piece glued back wasn't easy. It's now been replaced into the main panel and is working nicely...!"
The ribbon for the CS60 is for pitch only.

My Yamaha cs60 works great except for the pitch ribbon and I would love to fix it.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite synth because of the beautiful tone and expressiveness it has. If I could only have one synth, it would be a Yamaha cs 60 or of course the cs80!
