All the keys are perfect, no cracks or damage at all and they all work perfectly.
All pots are crackle free and the control knobs are in perfect condition.

All functions work as they should, including the unique spring reverb. This had a couple of wires loose (a common problem with spring reverbs) but these have been soldered back into place. Whilst the unit was open to do this I took the opportunity to clean all the key contacts and check everything else.
The chassis is entirely made of metal and the end facia panels are wood, so it's heavy! The only damage is a chip to the right end panel, as pictured. There are some minor signs of wear and a couple of faint scratches but otherwise it's excellent. Even the underside is in great condition. It has 4 adjustable feet which work as they should.
The presets are fantastic, brilliantly retro and 100% analogue.
There is an effects section and touch effects section, this synth has aftertouch, an amazing feature for the time. All these effects work perfectly. It also stays in tune and stable, even after playing for a long time.
Despite being a preset instrument, by using the wide array of effects a tremendous variety of very strong sounds can be achieved.
These are incredibly rare synthesizers and rarely come up for sale.
Theftertouch section was made under licence from ARP and there are some people of the opinion that the 100P is in fact identical to the ARP Pro Soloist, re bodied and badged Kawai.
This instrument also appeared in a similar form (from 1979) under the Teisco label but this one is a bit later and dates from 1980."
