Power supply mod for Roland AIRA modules

Interesting. Curious if anyone else out there has had similar problems with the AIRA modules. If so feel free to comment.
"Connect a large capacitor to the 7812 output and ground pins to help smooth out sudden spikes in current drawn from the modules."
