Moog Sub 37 Step Sequencer Overview

Published on Oct 4, 2015 ProckGnosis

"Just a introduction to the Moog Sub 37 step sequencer running under OS 1.1, looking at the following things:
- Inputting note values for each step
- Inputting rests and ties
- Editing the sequence afterwards

Great little feature on the Sub 37 and fairly easy to use. A couple things I don't look at are how to change note values after the sequence is loaded and how to skip steps in the sequence on the fly.

Probably very similar to quite a few older style step sequencers, but as I say in the video, I've done VERY little step sequencing with synths. That being said, it sort of reminded me of the Casio XW-P1's sequencer/drum programmer and a couple of the sequencers in Propellerhead Reason.

Cheers!

My only minor complaint is it would be nice if the LCD displayed more information about the step (like relative note value)"
