DSI Poly Evolver Keyboard: Improvisation LVI
Published on Nov 22, 2015 Sacred Synthesis
"A gentle piece performed entirely on Evolvers, with a soft digital pad on one instrument and a violin-like analog patch on the other. One Poly Evolver Keyboard has eight voices and the other only four. The two together make a perfect compliment, with the four-voice instrument being reserved for melody, yet with the ability to add a few harmonies. With this arrangement - and especially with the bass being provided with the feet on the pedalboard - there is no sense of musical limitation. Anything but! It's all a matter of thinking correctly as you sit to play.
Music for a long reflective walk through the New England woods in late fall. The autumn colors have faded, the sweet scents of apple and grape are gone, and the ground awaits the first snow. life, death, growth, change, sadness, but always hope and trust in God.
