Moog 701 & 702 - sequenced

"So having now basically finished all four modules, two 701 and two 702... I couldn't wait to see if they responded to my Q960 sequencer..! I threw the patches together... quickly soldering jack sockets for trigger and also for the filter CV on the 701's. They both work really well but I think I shall need to be able to control the gate length (pulse width...?) when I build my dedicated gate sequencer. With too long a gate pulse I couldn't get the really short trigger I need for a 'snappy' envelope setting - especially for the 702 percussion synth..! In this video I am adjusting the 702's LFO rate to try and keep 'in sync' with the sequencer tempo. It worked most of the time...;)"

"More of a beat thing going on in this one. I keep having to remind myself that these modules will be supplementing a synth sequence and won't be the "main act"... as they just seem to want to take over. They're pretty interesting on their own actually... but it'll be interesting adding them behind a bubbling Minimoog line. I'll have to try that next..:)"
