Introducing The Quill by Tabor - Wireless Motion Sensing Hardware Controller
Intro to The Quill by Tabor Published on Feb 24, 2016 Oren Levy
Remember this post on something new coming from Tabor? Well, here it is.
Update: I asked Oren how much the Quill would cost and when it might be available. He said expects it to run $99. He is currently looking for funding to continue development of the project. If you want to reach out to him, you can find his contact info on the about page of his website or you can leave a note through the form on http://www.tabor.io.
"A first look at The Quill by Tabor. The Quill is a wearable BLE MIDI device that can send MIDI data in various forms to computers/phones/tablets/hardware to make sounds. Use it as a compositional tool to think outside the box. Use it as a means of expression to add flavor to your DJ sets. Use it while playing other instruments to add nuance to your playing. There are already 30+ instruments programmed for the Quill and new ones will be made available monthly."
And some pics via Auxren's Adventures in the World of Synthesizers, Oren Levy's website. Oren of course is the man behind Tabor, and I'm proud to say he is also a supporting MATRIXSYNTH Member! :) Thank you Oren!
