"Here is a vintage mid '70s Minimoog Model D in great working condition : Serial # 4174 from Moogmusic Williamsville N.Y. Built in 1974, bought it in 1975. I'm am the first and only owner, and it's a true collector item.

In very good and original condition : Oscillators, VCA, Filter and everything else have always been in there, since it factory outlet on Feb. 28 1974 : Inner Electronic had never been touched... Never Upgrated with more recent and less appreciated parts. An (added) discrete white micro switch appears on left side of pitch bend wheel that adds a ''drone'' function, ( Moog added this option later on the Micromoog synth) : This is a very usefull fonction that hold the last key played /on, letting your two hands free to control buttons and pitch, and use it in real time for sound exploration as long as the switch is on. Also added a ¨gate out¨ also called ¨trigg¨ as an rca plug with a red wire incorporated to the rear wood case : So with these 2 additions coming from the keyboard voltage, it is ready to easily control any external analog device provided with appropriate input. It was easily controlling an "ARP Little Brother'' that was an ARP expander module bringing additionnal VCO and sub with built in ajustable delayed LFO for automatic vibrato....Cool... No midi added but could be done by your technician if you need it or better ; simply plug on a Kenton external hardware "midi to CV" to drive it from your midi or midi/usb controller, sequencer or computer. RARE S-Trig plug and wire connector is also included with it's original ''minimoog synthesizer operation manual ''. (see last photo)

The oscillators sound great, and are stable after a 10 min. warm up . Bass Sound really Fat... Only like a Vintage Minimoog... (Alan Parson, Jan Hammer, Pink Floyd)

Front black cover panel is in original condition, not warped on corners and every button are complete with no missing caps ¨hats¨. The pots are ok, no squissh or scrratchhh. The power cord (the external black plactic envelope ) is cracked and opened near of the rear panel inlet, and the ground pin (the third ) of the 110 volt plug is missing. It still and always worked with no consequence but would ideally be changed. The metal case is intact except a polished space where my address number was engraved, and one of the eleven gray plastic gromets is missing.

The wood overall is more than acceptable, have some traces of life/scratches but other than that it's in good condition considering it's age and compared to some others offered to sell.

About the keyboard : Entire keyboard (each key) is original and each white one have the same uniform color from end to end. If you're knowledgeable about these synthesizers and are willing to give this one some more care I also include a new set of keyboard lubrified bushing for use (replace) now or in a far future. As many of you are fully aware, vintage gear may come with some servicing required and as such I would hope the buyer fully understands what they are investing in, an item like this won't lose value but may need as mentioned ongoing maintenance to keep it in top working condition. What I can say now is it's working really great, as is, now, as a result of carefull respect along the time . The unit has been mostly used inside a smoke free studio and almost not used, stored in a blanket for the last 25 years. All in all, a collectors item or electronic musician dream, priced considerably less than others that have been refurbished, and after many comparaisons since a few month, is in a better shape than some other offers... If your dream is a vintage minimoog in good shape, this is your chance, of course not a brand new, but a really fair offer for this '70s vintage.

What you get :

1 Minimoog original vintage #4174

1 S-Trig plug and wire connector

1 Minimoog synthesizer operation manual

1 Brand new set of keyboard bushing (lubrified) in a bag."
