Moog Mother 32 Patch Tip

Published on Feb 5, 2016 PaulLawlerMusic

"Patch 'Gate out' into VCO LIN FM for the illusion of a 2nd Osc playing 1 octave and a tone higher. Useful for high and fast sequences.

EDIT: I just discovered it's almost ientical to the patch 'Octave Bounce Back' in the manual. However, if you patch into Mix1 rather than mix2, you can get a semitone higher."

  1. I guess I don't understand the point if the patching isn't clearly described. Am I supposed to look at the video, freeze it 200 times and play it 100 times and sort it out? Or am I just supposed to say, "Gee this person did this and I have no idea how?"

    1. I believe the tip is the description in the first video. More tip than tutorial.
