Roland JP-8000 + Mixing board improvisation

Published on Nov 12, 2014 Nulla Spes

"Here's my humble attempt to explore the capabilities of a 'no input mixing board' used... With inputs.

The main sound generator is the JP, which provides rhythmic and harmonic patterns with its long delay.

The sound then goes into a modest Yamaha MG 124 cx with Fx and Aux sends plugged back into two other channels. This works both as a sound processor, adding reverb, distortion and some kind of filtering to the synth sound, and as a standalone sound generator, when the fader are pushed further and the feedback starts to self-oscillate."
