Moog Jam 17 - I am a Sub37

Published on Jul 16, 2016 Modular Landing

"The Moog Sub 37 is an amazing and fun analog synth -- so easy to get a variety of good sounds out of, and it can also be used for sound processing. There are four Sub 37 parts in this piece: (1) a sequenced part sent from Logic via MIDI into the sub, (2) a lead part which was fed into a Moog 500 series Analog Delay (which you hear at the very beginning and end of the tracks in feedback mode); (3) another part where I play a C#m arpeggio mid-way through the piece; (4) a piano part recorded and then sent through the Sub37 for filter, resonance and noise effects. Lastly, there's a straight piano part as well, played on a Schimmel grand, as well as some drum loops in Logic and a bit of text-to-speech synthesis."
