Patching for fun - Buchla Music Easel

Published on Jul 16, 2016 100 Things I Do

"Some real time exploration with no purpose in mind other than to see where I would end up from no starting position. For anyone that has not used a music easel hopefully this will give you some insight to the world of Banana patching. Before I got my Easel i was perplexed why so many people used the word 'immediate' when talking about this instrument. Once you learn to experiment you realise how quickly you can pivot a sound from atonal exploration to well tempered tunes."
